Activities of the volunteers
The group of 10 volunteers will undertake different activities to promote volunteering, inclusion and active citizenship. The main activities of the volunteers will be:

2. Promoting European Voluntary Service and Youth in Action programme in the high schools, universities and local NGOs of Tirana. Volunteers will do this according to the schedule that we will be designed with the volunteer upon arrival (approx. one day a week). The main aim of this activity is to spread information about values of volunteering and participation of youth in the social life of the community.
3. Updating a common blog with articles, short movies and photographies to promote the project activities.
The volunteers will have time for developing their ideas about different celebration activities related to youth and to disability for May 21st 2012, the Diversity Day and for Children’s Day (June 1st). The volunteers will be free to propose activities and the staff of the hosting organisation (Beyond Barriers) will support them and create the possibilities to realise their initiatives. The volunteers will work in close cooperation with the staff, the local volunteers and with the special support of the supervisor and the mentors.
