Dear colleagues,

On 9-10 July 2012 thematic seminar for Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE): “Research-Based Education at BA, MA and PhD Level,” will be held at Yerevan State Linguistic University Bryusov. The discussions will center on strengthening the research component in educational programs and modules, designing integrated learning models, and organizing research based education at three levels. Taking into account the relevance of issues to be discussed during the seminar, as well as the fact that the event will be held in Armenia, by the initiative of National Tempus Office in Armenia and HERE-Armenia a follow up of the seminar addressing the representatives of Armenian academic community will be organised on 11 July at American University of Armenia (AUA). HERE-Armenia will provide an overview of the two-day seminar “Research-Based Education at BA, MA and PhD Level” which will be followed by the presentation of AUA experience in research-based education.

The participants will include representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian HEIs, experts from European Union and Partner Countries. The event will also be attended by Jacques Kemp and Franz Steidele, Tempus Unit, Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
