EVS in Slovakia_Urgent

Dear friends,
”Armenian Progressive Youth” NGO announces a call for the approved EVS project in Bratislava, Slovakia. The project duration is the following: Start: 02/09/2012- End: 30/08/2013

Hosting organization:
SPOSA is parental NGO, whose goal is to help people with autism and their families in everyday life. You will work in the center of Bratislava, mainly in the afternoons (cca from 12:00 till 18:00). You will teach our clients how to deal with daily tasks (cooking, handcrafts, cleaning, public transport,..) and you will also have arttherapies with them. You are welcome to develop your own project during your EVS. You will work in a team with other EVS volunteers. Tasks: lead therapies (mostly with individuals) – help with administrative work and the work that need to be done on occasionally basis – make photos and videos from events – prepare summer camp and weekends for kids with their families.
Criteria: We would like to have volunteers with these characteristics: – patient, prepared for new situations – having artisitic skills – willing to work with disabled people – willing to learn Slovak language – having some youth work experience.
