“Business Reporting” training course by Thomson Reuters Foundation

Thomson Reuters Foundation with Business school of Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University (www.bs.rau.am) gives such opportunity to Armenian and other neighbor countries’ journalist to participate to the training "Business writing" by the trainers of Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Training course will be held in the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University, Yerevan, at 1-5 of October, 2012.

Trainers will be Specialist Financial Training Editor Thomas Atkins and Specialist Editor, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Financial Markets Nigel Stephenson.

Eligible applicants: Applicants must be English-speaking professional journalists who are currently working to print, broadcast or online media organizations. They must have at least two years’ professional experience and have a good level in spoken and written English. Journalists from regions are encouraged.

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Motivation letter up to 250 words.
• Two recent examples of your published work, preferably relevant to the business, with a brief summary in English (if necessary). TV/Radio journalists can send in their scripts and a brief summary. 

Training fee- There is no fee for training course. Business school of Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University doesn’t provide for applicants’ transport and residence costs. 

It’s necessary to bring your laptops with you as whole working process is built on them. 

At the end of the training course participants will be awarded certificates of Thomson Reuters Foundation. Participants must not miss the lesson otherwise we won’t give those the certificates.
