Applications for 2013/14 Chevening Scholarships now open

Applications for Chevening Scholarships, the prestigious global scholarship programme of the UK government, are now open.

The Scholarships, which are funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, operate in over 100 countries worldwide, and this year will support about 700 students. The Scholarships are awarded to exceptional individuals with leadership potential. Awards are typically for a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any UK university.

In Armenia for 2013/14 we welcome applications from candidates who wish to study for a Master’s degree in the following academic fields:

·         Law and Legal Studies

·         Public Administration, Public Policy and Governance

·         Political and Social Studies

·         Economics

·         International Relations

·         Business and Innovation

There are no age restrictions for Chevening Scholarships. To qualify for a Chevening Scholarship you just need to demonstrate that you have achieved a minimum English language requirement (set out below) at the time that you submit your application

be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country at the time of applying for the award, and intend to return there at the end of the period of study

hold a degree that is equivalent to at least a good UK second-class honours degree. Further information on UK degree equivalency can be found from UK NARIC

have completed at least two years’ work or equivalent experience by 30 September 2012.

Scholars are personally selected by British High Commissions and British Embassies throughout the world, sometimes in partnership with sponsoring organisations. Deadline for application submission is 02 January, 2013

Չիվնինգ  Կրթաթոշակներն արդեն բաց են 2013/2014 ուսումնական տարվա  հայտերի ընդունման համար
Միացյալ Թագավորության Արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը ս/թ հոկտեմբերի 29-ից հայտարարում է Չիվնինգի կրթաթոշակներ ծրագիրը: 

Չիվնինգի կրթաթոշակները ֆինանսավորվում են ՄԹ Արտաքին գործերի նախարարության և համագործակցող կազմակերպությունների կողմից: Այն իրականացվում է աշխարհի ավելի քան 100 երկրներում և այս տարի աջակցելու է մոտ 700 ուսանողի: Կրթաթոշակները տրամադրվում են առաջնորդության ունակություններ ունեցող լավագույն դիմորդներին և ամբողջությամբ ֆինանսավորում են Մեծ բրիտանիայի ցանկացած ԲՈՒՀ-ի մեկ տարվա մագիստրոսի ծրարգիր:

Հայաստանի համար այս տարի սահմանվել են հետևյալ առաջնային ուղղությունները.

·         Հանրային կառավարում, հանրային քաղաքականություն և կառավարում

Չիվնինգի կրթաթոշակին դիմելու համար որևէ տարիքային սահմանափակում չկա, անհրաժեշտ է ունենալ անգլերենի իմացության համապատասխան վկայական, բարձրագույն կրթության դիպլոմ, լինել Հայաստանի քաղաքացի և ունենալ 2 տարվա աշխատանքային փորձ: Առավել մանրամասն տեղեկություններ կարելի է գտնել www.chevening.orgկայքի Հայաստանի համար նախատեսված էջում:

Կրթաթոշակառուները ընտրվում են Բրիտանական դեսպանատան և համագործակցող կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչների կողմից: Հայաստանի դիմորդների համար հայտերի ընդունման վերջնաժամկետն է 2013թ-ի Հունվարի 2-ը:

Չիվնինգի կրթաթոշակները բրիտանական կառավորության գլոբալ կրթաթոշակային ծրագիր է, ֆինանսավորվում է ՄԹ Արտաքին գործերի նախարարության կողմից:

Չիվնինգի ծրագիրը սկսվել է 1983թ-ից, ընդգրկում է աշխարհի 116 երկիր: 2011-2012-ին 700 հոգի ամբողջ աշխարհից արժանացել են այս կրթաթոշակին: Ընդհանուր առմամբ Չիվնինգը ունի 41,000 շրջանավարտ:
