Celebrating 15th Anniversary of Iran and the Caucasus, 1-2 July, 2011
FIFTEEN YEARS OF ACHIEVEMENTS:
Celebrating the 15th Anniversary of IRAN AND THE CAUCASUS
July 1-2, 2011
For more than a decade Iran and the Caucasus has served as a common ground for sharing thoughts and expressing ideas, mentioning points and raising questions. The Journal has become one of the basic forums, where academics from all over the world can discuss topics covering the diverse fields from History, Anthropology and Political Science to Religion Studies, Literature and Linguistics. Iran and the Caucasus is one of the top-rated among peer-reviewed academic periodicals, for which we are indebted to all our contributors, as well as the whole Journal’s staff and the BRILL Academic Publishers. We have decided to celebrate our common success with a workshop dedicated to the 15th anniversary of our Journal.
The workshop is planned on July 1-2, 2011.
Scholars are invited to submit papers relating mainly to the topics so far covered by Iran and the Caucasus: Political Science, History, Literature, Linguistics, Anthropology, Sociology, International Relations, Economic Issues, Religions, Archaeology of Iran and the Caucasus.
DEADLINE: Abstracts (not exceeding 500 words) are to be emailed by March 01, 2011 to: khachik.gevorgyan (at) yahoo.co.uk
A brief CV including contact details is to be included in the message.
A notification about acceptance of the papers will be sent till April 10, 2011.
